The Svalbard Global Seed Vault opens its doors to receive a shipment of the world's crop diversity for the second time this year.

The Svalbard Global Seed Vault opens for the second time in 2024 to accept new seeds from the world’s genebanks. A total of 18 genebanks are expected to deposit over 40 boxes to the Vault, including seven BOLD and two Seeds for Resilience Project partners.
