Dr Tiziana Ulian is a Senior Research Leader at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew (U.K) where she leads the team ‘Sustainable Use, Seeds & Solutions’ and Kew’s Programme in Mexico. She is also a Visiting Professor at the University of Turin (Italy) where she teaches on the MSc programme in Biodiversity Conservation (2023).
She has a background in plant ecology and expertise in biodiversity conservation and ecosystem services and over 20 years of progressively responsible experience designing, implementing, and leading projects across Latin America, Africa, Europe and the Middle East (32 projects in 18 countries) for the conservation and sustainable use of plant genetic resources.
